I'm pleased to announce a merger of two great gaming clans. The Peerless Dragons and Hit Squad have decided to combine their forces to become The Hit Squad Dragons. Our squad now brings to the field a combined 15 years of online FPS ownage! With a large arsenal of skill, teamwork, organization, and honor there is no direction to go other than success. Carny-Dragon writes "After many weeks of testing, tweaking, and help posts on various forums the Peerless Dragons version of X4 is finalized. Previously using the ACE mod we found that the X4 mod enabled many other features that adds new life and replay value to COD4. Soon I will be adding a map pack download with a custom installer for those of you who are having issues downloading directly from in-game. This map pack will be quite large and will include all custom maps we are running on the server.
Here are a few of the features and tweaks of the X4 mod:
New Weapon of Mass Destruction kill streak rewards.
3 Kills = UAV
5 Kills = Cluster Bomb Air Strike
7 Kills = Helicopter Gunship Support (The damage done by the Heli has been reduced, while the damage the Heli takes from gunfire has been increased)
8 Kills = Precison Guided Munitions Drop....This feature is unique only to the Peerless Dragons COD4 server
10 Kills = AC130 Gunship with 25mm Gatling Guns
13 Kills = AC130 Gunship with 40mm Bofors Cannon
15 Kills = AC130 Gunship with 105mm Howitzer
20 Kills = Air dropped Nuclear Strike
Sniper rifle weapon modification, the sniper rifles now have unlimited range with no scope drift. This has enable long range sniping, note this has now allowed bullet travel time
Large number of new weapon/ordance skins. Definately a must see!
General weapon modifications to realistically refelct ammo count, weapon damage, rate of fire, and bullet groupings
Point system has been altered to reward those who make the extra effort for headshots and knives.
